Orbital-ATKTYSONS CORNER, VA June 12, 2015 — Executive Mosaic — Scott Lehr has been named flight systems group president at Orbital ATK, GovCon Wire reported Thursday.
He will assume the post on July 1 and take over from Ron Gabe, who will stay on as a key advisor to the division, Orbital ATK said Thursday.
Lehr was senior vice president to Gabe’s deputy since the ATKOrbital Sciences merger in February 2015, following more than three decades in various roles at ATK and a predecessor company.
“I am humbled by the promotion considering the depth of talent we have in the group, the commitments we make to our customers, the many opportunities we have for growth in our markets, and the significant legacy left by my predecessor,” Lehr said.
“It has been my honor to work with Ron through the merger process and I look forward to his wise counsel as he assumes a senior advisory role with the group.”
