Bill Ballhaus on Deb Alderson’s Promotion to COO at SRA International

Tim Atkin, who has served SRA since since 1998, was also promoted to chief administrative officer and chief of staff and will coordinate cross-organizational initiatives. 
Deb Alderson has elevated to EVP and COO at SRA International, 12 months after joining the Fairfax, Va.-based company as EVP for strategic development.

The 25-year industry vet is now in charge of the company’s four main business groups and brings experience leading multi-billion dollar federal market operations in C4ISR and other specialties.
“Tim’s government experience and successful background running multiple parts of SRA’s business complements Deb’s external client-facing focus,” said Bill Ballhaus, SRA president and CEO. 
Marcus Collier, GDIT to Help Stand Up Medical Facilities with IT Equipment
  
Marcus CollierGeneral Dynamics Information Technology has won $100 million in task orders to help install health IT equipment at military hospitals and clinics.

Marcus Collier, SVP of health and civilian solutions, said General Dynamics has previously outfitted military and international medical facilities and will work at new facilities built to house injured service members.

General Dynamics also announced 32-year company vet Sandra Wheeler elevated to VP of tactical networks for C4 systems, where she will lead support of the Army‘s Warfighter Information Network-Tactical program.
Chris Marzilli, C4 systems president, said the company will leverage Wheeler’s experience managing large programs as it works to better connect commanders and soldiers through voice, video and data.
Mike Lawrie: CSC Taps Doug Tracy as New CIO

Doug Tracy has joined Falls Church, Va.-based CSC as CIO and will manage the company’s worldwide IT operations and work to align CSC’s business and IT strategies.
While CIO at Dana Holding Corp., Tracy integrated the global IT organization and worked to improve the company’s applications and infrastructure.

“A critical part of our company’s transformation initiative is upgrading the technology infrastructure and tools that power our business,” said Mike Lawrie, CSC president and CEO.
Before Dana, Tracy served as EVP of IT and the global CTO at Rolls-Royce, where his responsibilities included overseeing IT strategy and architecture.
Ken Lawhorn on Accenture’s $250M Win to Consolidate TSA’s Identity Mgmt System
Accenture Federal Services has won a $250 million contract to consolidate all of TSA‘s identity management and credentialing platforms into one system in order to streamline the current system.
A credentialing system secures areas in the U.S. transportation system and the new Accenture version will include case management and customer relations management.
“This new identity management and card production capability tool will connect people and information to help facilitate secure travel and trade,” said Ken Lawhorn, leader of Accenture’s work at TSA.
The maritime transportation system’s worker credential system will be the first program to be transitioned.
