Hello, Guest!

wash100-SEALSoon after the start of the 2014 year, Executive Mosaic’s leadership elected 100 executives and officials from across the GovCon landscape as the 2013 class of the Wash100, the premier group of leaders on both sides of the intersection of the private and public sectors.

Inductee Jeff Sorenson has spent time on both sides of the intersection, elevating to the posts of Lieutenant General and chief information officer in the U.S. Army, which he served for close-to-40-years prior to joining the private sector.

He joined A.T. Kearney in 2011 and focuses on driving affordability in government programs and efficiencies in agency procurement as the lead for A.T. Kearney Public Sector and Defense Services.

“I wish I would have known about A.T. Kearney when I was in the Army because there were several instances that I could have used the type of information, the type of rigor, the type of analytics that the firm has done to help government leaders make more informed decisions,” Sorenson told GovCon Exec.

“Whether it’s the Army, Navy, or Air Force, we try to help them think differently about what a weapon system should cost,” he added. “Developing a bottoms-up factual cost Jeff Sorenson - A.T. Kearney , ExecutiveMosaic-baseline provides the government with a better way to manage programs.”

Sorenson is now actively positioning A.T. Kearney in its pursuit of more government contracts and brings a career of vision, commitment, and execution to that effort – just what Executive Mosaic looks for in its Wash100 election process.

The Wash100 is a group of private and public sectors officially elected by Executive Mosaic’s organizational and editorial leadership for demonstrating a consistent commitment to organizational excellence, and driving above-average value to the American public through strategic vision, innovation and achievement.

Executive Mosaic inducts new leaders each year, but the recognition is earned over a career of work.
