Terry Ryan to Join VT Group as Chief Executive
Terry Ryan will succeed the retiring Dave Dacquinoas CEO of VT Group on Monday.
A former executive in the Office of the Secretary of Defense, Ryan held executive posts with SAIC, SRA International and, most recently,Mantech International, as COO of emerging markets.
The 10-year Marine Corps vet also served as chairman and president of Mercury Federal Systems and said he is “thrilled with the opportunity” to lead the engineering design and technical services firm.
VT Group was bought by a New York-based affiliate of the private equity firm the Jordan Company in May 2012.
Bill Graham & Deb Oliver on New SI CTO Barry Barlow
Barry Barlow has joined The SI Organization as CTO after recently retiring from the National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency.
Bill Graham, president and CEO, said Barlow has designed
and architected many NGA programs and has worked with SI for many years.
The 36-year aerospace and defense vet last served as director for online geospatial intelligence services at the agency and was also the director of the acquisition directorate, chief architect and chief engineer.
Deb Oliver, EVP of corporate development and COO, said Barlow brings experience with cloud computing, big data analysis, geospatial intelligence integration and geospatial intelligence data standards.
Tom Ferrando on CRGT’s Appointment of Sal Fazzolari to Strategic Development SVP
Sal Fazzolari has been named SVP of strategic development atCRGT, where he will be responsible for developing strategies to grow the defense, intelligence and civilian government business.
The 30-year IT industry vet led the corporate BD function at ICF International and IT projects and BD atNorthrop Grumman.
“As we consolidate operations and drive efficiencies from our recent acquisitions, we remain mindful of the critical need to drive growth and fuel innovation to sustain the momentum we have gained,” said Tom Ferrando, CRGT president and CEO.
The company recently acquired Herndon, Va.-based data analytics and systems engineering integrator Guident Technologies.
Lockheed Names Rick Ambrose, Sondra Barbour to EVP Ranks
Effective April 1, Lockheed Martin has promoted Sondra Barbour to EVP of the IS&GS business and to EVP of space systems.
Marillyn Hewson said Ambrose has a proven track record in the industry and Barbour has helped to define the company’s cybersecurity infrastructure.
Both Linda Gooden, EVP of IS&GS, and Joanne Maguire, EVP of space systems, will retire in April.
