“At AMERICAN SYSTEMS, it’s very likely that we might not be your first job. More likely, we’ll be your last job. So finding the right people and maintaining high employee retention is very important to us,” Braccio said about the company’s recruiting efforts.
She also talked about the ownership model of the company and it’s uniqueness in the government contracting industry.
“We have an Employee Stock Ownership Plan and we all share in the values and the success of the company through our ESOP. It really supports our culture, of who we want to be at AMERICAN SYSTEMS,” she said.
Braccio also discussed the strength of the company’s contract pipeline and where the company stands as 2014 unfolds.
“During the recent government shutdown, AMERICAN SYSTEMS was fortunate to only have about 2 percent of our workforce impacted, and that was because our business focus is on national priorities that continued to receive funding,” she said.
