LaVigne has called his technology solutions company an “entrepreneurial at heart organization” that “embraces” market changes with “vigorous enthusiasm.”
“I believe in leveraging key leadership in the organization, developing a collaborative and goal-oriented plan, encouraging an entrepreneurial spirit, providing freedom and flexibility within corporate parameters to accomplish the objectives where we hold each other accountable through agreed upon metrics and measurements,” LaVigne told ExecutiveBiz.
LaVigne has had to demonstrate his sharp leadership and business skills across a number of business challenges that have required “heavy lifting” in his career, including leading the integration of Federal Data Corporation into Northrop Grumman, decoupling Iron Bow and Apptis prior to Apptis’ acquisition by URS Corp., and building out Iron Bow for the future.
Lavigne credits honing some of the skills necessary from his career working for Ernst & Young, where he would spend 10 years across public accounting, auditing and business advisory businesses.
“Most people don’t know that I’m a finance guy by trade and at heart,” he told ExecutiveBiz. “It was that platform that provided me an opportunity in the technology industry.”
