Robin Portman, an executive vice president at Booz Allen Hamilton, discussed the company’s corporate citizenship and veteran-support initiatives.
Portman told Roger Waldron, host of the radio show and president of the Coalition for Government Procurement, that Booz Allen continues to build on its projects that support the community and transitioning soldiers.
She highlighted how Booz Allen has successfully cultivated a culture of corporate responsibility and sited partnerships with organizations such as Operation Homefront, USO, TAPS and the Disabled Veterans Association.
“For our centennial year, we announced a Centennial Community Challenge where we encourage all of our employees to perform collectively a hundred thousand hours of community service in the calendar year,” Portman said in the interview.
Portman serves as the chairperson for the Easter Seals Advocacy Awards, which focuses it efforts on veterans.
