TYSONS CORNER, VA, July 10, 2017 — Lockheed Martin (NYSE: LMT) will design and fly prototype missiles for the second phase of the U.S. Army‘s Long Range Precision Fires program under a potential $73.8 million contract, GovCon Wire reported Friday.
The company said Thursday phase two includes technology maturation and risk reduction work on prototype LRPF missiles over a 36-month period ahead of the program’s engineering and manufacturing development phase.
