TYSONS CORNER, VA, Feb. 27, 2018 — General Atomics‘ aeronautical systems business named BAE Systems, Boeing (NYSE: BA), Fokker, L3 Technologies (NYSE: LLL), Pratt & WhitneyRockwell Collins and UTC Aerospace Systems as partners in a bid for the U.S. Navy‘s MQ-25 Stingray program, GovCon Wire reported.
The team will work together to offer the future aircraft carrier-based unmanned aerial refueling tanker for the Navy, GA-ASI said.
Chris Raymond, vice president and general manager of Boeing’s autonomous systems business, said the company will leverage its autonomous and aviation experience to support the General Atomics-led proposal.
